So recently I've been looking through replies to my posts and tweets. I noticed that quite a few of those have been with me since I began all this YouTube posting video stuff. I did a bit of reflection last night and I just really want to say a big thank you to everyone both new and old that's been with me and supporting me. I really appreciate it and I really do mean that I sincerely thank you for supporting what I love to do ^^

As for other news, yesterday I met with a film student from the Grant MacEwan University to talk about ideas for a storyline for an upcoming music video. It's kind of a win-win situation cause I get a MV and this is basically their project for their final project for their film course. Long story short, we did a whole lot of brainstorming and came up with a rough storyline and managed to add a few tiny details in there. The song is an unreleased original composition that I wrote and played. The only thing that I can tell you guys that it's quite a dark song. Shooting will begin early-mid November. I hope everyone will like the final product!

As for covers and arrangements, this weekend I'm uploading the full version of my hard rock version arrangement of "The Boys" by SNSD featuring quite a few of my YouTube friends I hope you guys are as excited as I am for the release of this XD. After this is going to be a collaboration with sjwpark from YouTube, then another one with JasmineXMusic, followed by an original written by a friend of mine which I'm going to be featured in :). Yep....a lot of awesome collaboration videos on queue for you guys!

That is all, I hope you guys have an awesome week and I will be at a clinic at Giovanni Yamaha School of Music with the bassist and drummer from Black Label Society on Halloween!! So have a fun and safe Halloween everybody! ^^ <3

New Album!!

Hey everyone!

So this year, people have been asking if I would put out another original album.

Unfortunately, I have no plans to put out another original album YET, because I plan to write another one only when my composition skills improve.

HOWEVER though! I JUST released an album called "Hidden Creations" it is basically an album, consisting of songs from 2008 till today that I never released, was forced to take off YouTube, or didn't get enough attention.

New Guitar!!!

I was at a practice session for a local gig coming up called Heritage Day with a few people, when the host pretty much gave me this guitar. To be honest, I don't know what the brand is, but it's definitely not Fender, as much as it looks like it. Apparently it's one of those starter guitars that he bought from this really cheap store and he customized it, changed the pickguard, hardwares, pickups, and even polished the neck. I just plugged it in today to see how it sounds, and it sounds AMAZING!!! I don't have much complaint about the playing comfort as well. Also, since this is a guitar made from his sweat and blood, I will definitely cherish it! Thank you man!!

Hi everyone! I have a few things to notify everyone.

1. I just got a new domain name, this site will become silvermercury.net instead of silvermercury.webs.com in a while.

2. My latest video "Hard Rock Gee" just came out on my YouTube, Click here to check it out! It's a spinoff of the song "Gee - SNSD" that we've all either grown to love or find REALLY annoying now.

3. New photos are up, a friend and I went out for a photoshoot session, came back with some nice photography work. Check it out!

4. I just ordered a new guitar, it's coming in a few weeks and it is an Ibanez Xiphos!

hey y'all!

I FINALLY finished my first year of uni. So that means, 4 MONTHS OF COVERING, COMPOSITIONS, AND ARRANGEMENTS~!!! I'm excited hehe, I really need some stress relieving after finishing off University *sigh*

Help to Support Japan

As you all know, Japan was hit by a 8.9 magnitude earthquake and a tsunami as well. Now the country is in grave danger from its damaged nuclear reactors and potential volcano eruptions.

Now people from around the world are doing all they can to help. As for me, I've decided that for every album of Diamond Wings sold will be donated to the relief fund to help support Japan. So if you like the album and you like Japan, please, by all means, download it, and it'll be towards a good cause.
